Beta Disclaimer
Mail Swip is currently in beta via TestFlight. This means:
- You may encounter bugs or unexpected behavior
- Features may change between updates
- The on-device AI model is actively being improved based on user feedback
- Your feedback is invaluable, please report any issues
Known Limitations
- Gmail only: other email providers are not supported yet
- AI accuracy: the on-device model may occasionally miscategorize emails. You can report misclassifications directly from any email card to help improve the model
- Initial setup: a ~60 MB AI model downloads once when you first open the app. A stable internet connection is needed for this step
- Sync delays: large inboxes may take a moment to fully sync on first use
FAQ
Does Mail Swip read my emails on a server? No. All email processing happens on your device using a local AI model. Your emails are never sent to our servers or any third party.
What happens when I trash an email? It moves to Gmail's trash folder, where it's recoverable for 30 days, the same as trashing in Gmail directly.
Can I undo a swipe? Yes. After swiping, an undo button appears for 30 seconds.
Does it work offline? Once the AI model is downloaded and your emails are synced, classification works offline. You need internet to sync new emails or apply trash actions to Gmail.
